About Mark Kane

Well, what can I tell you about Mark Kane? He was born in Munich (Germany) during the glorious Star Wars year of 1977. During his childhood he survived many exciting adventures, which unfortunatelly are never going to be told as he doesn't remember any of them. The only thing he remembers is that he was imprisoned at an age of 6 years in an institution known as school, his life energy sucked into an infinite void called education. He was only recently released from it at the age of 19 after passing a final test called "the Abitur". He now is serving a year of civil service and hoping to get some kind of cool job afterwards (preferably in the computer graphics industry ).

Since his early childhood he was interested in Science Fiction and astronomy, no wonder his favourite TV show for a long time was Star Trek: TOS (in Germany known under the oh so ingenious name "Raumschiff Enterprise"), later followed by TNG, DS9 and especially Babylon 5. Another interest of his were computers, especially after he realized that there was in fact more to them than playing games and writing letters to his granny. He grew old and (not very) wise, and without warning started to play around with 3D graphics as a hobby. Lately he's been getting more serious about this and also started to use some more serious software, hoping that he may get to put this to a use later in life. Besides rendering he enjoys reading, movies, music (NIN forever!), going out, sleeping and talking about himself in the third person.
