The Enterprise 1701-C engages in a fire fight with a Klingon D7 deep in the heart of a nebula. All power from the now useless shields is diverted to the forward Phasers and the C delivers a killing blow to the stricken Klingon warship.

Klingon deathcries sound as the crippled D7's warp core goes nova and the ship explodes in a mighty fireball. You can even see the heat tracing through the ships structure as the thermal energy from the core vaporises all in its way!

As the debris of the lead D7 cool in space the rest of the Klingon ships join the battle. Shots issue back and forth and the the Vor'Cha flagship of the fleet fires its phasers at full power at the 1701-C. The starfleet crew are trying to get some sort of shielding up to even the odds but can they do it in time?

Frantically the crew get some shielding up but it's not enough as the Vor'cha scores a direct hit on one the 1701-C's warp nacelles and it explodes and the enterprise loses her Phasers and shields.

The Vulcan First officer manages to divert most of the blast away from the ship but the enterprise is a sitting duck. Captain Rachel Garret gives the order for Abandoning the ship and the crew prepares to leave in shuttle pods. But then the captain plays her ace, several prototype federation heavy shuttles dubbed "runabouts" Arm up and head to intercept the incoming Klingon Fleet.

While the crew from the C escape in a variety of shuttles and pods. The Runabouts Engage the enraged Klingons in a last ditch effort to save the rest of the crew. One of the Runabouts rams the Vor'Cha command cruiser while to others go in all guns blazing. The Vor'cha begins to brew up from the suicidal Runabout's warp core breaching its own power conduits!

The suicidal attack works and the Vor'Cha's anti-matter mixes as it starts to rip apart. The resulting fireball destroys the nearby D-7's running escort to the flagship and the attacking Prototype Runabouts. But the crew of the 1701-C is saved, thanks to the brave test pilots of prototype heavy shuttles.

Here we see the 1701-B entering a Dying Sun Corona using her new "test" Meta Phasic shields, This still is set during the next gen and supposes that the 1701-B is still in exsistence! The sun was made using Smoke.sxp and the sun mapping concept was invented by Eric Chadwick.
